Carsofix — Premium Auto Dealer Platform

carsofix.com

Carsofix is a multi-language premium car dealership website designed to showcase vehicle inventory and drive qualified leads from international buyers. The platform serves a high-end auto dealer targeting customers across eight European and North American markets, with full localization in English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, and Russian. Built on Next.js 15 with server-side rendering for optimal SEO performance, the platform features a dynamic vehicle catalog with advanced filtering, detailed vehicle pages with photo galleries, and a streamlined contact flow designed to convert browsing visitors into qualified leads. The multi-language architecture is powered by next-intl with route-based locale detection, ensuring each language version has its own clean URL structure for maximum search engine visibility.

!The Challenge

The auto dealer operated in a competitive premium vehicle market where online presence directly impacts sales. Their existing web presence was a basic single-page site in one language that failed to capture the significant cross-border demand from buyers in neighboring European countries. Premium car buyers frequently search in their native language, and a dealer without localized content is effectively invisible to these high-value prospects. The core challenge was building a platform that could serve eight distinct markets with properly localized content — not just translated UI labels, but culturally appropriate vehicle descriptions, properly formatted prices, and locally relevant contact information. Each language version needed to be fully indexable by search engines with proper hreflang tags, locale-prefixed URLs, and localized metadata, so the site would rank organically in each target market. Performance was critical. Premium car buyers expect a fast, polished browsing experience that reflects the quality of the vehicles being sold. The site needed to load in under 2 seconds, display high-resolution vehicle photography without compromising speed, and provide smooth filtering interactions that feel instant even with large inventory catalogs. The dealer also needed the ability to manage inventory independently through an admin interface without requiring developer involvement for routine updates.

Our Approach

1

We selected Next.js 15 with the App Router for its superior server-side rendering capabilities and built-in image optimization, ensuring every page loads fast and is fully pre-rendered for search engine crawlers. This gives the site a significant SEO advantage over client-rendered alternatives.

2

The internationalization layer was built with next-intl using route-based locale detection (e.g., /en/vehicles, /de/fahrzeuge), ensuring each language version has its own URL structure. We implemented proper hreflang tags and locale-specific metadata for each of the 8 supported languages.

3

The vehicle catalog was designed with a faceted search interface supporting make, model, year range, price range, mileage, fuel type, and body style filters. All filtering happens client-side for instant responsiveness, with the full catalog pre-loaded via server-side rendering on initial page load.

4

Vehicle detail pages feature responsive photo galleries with lazy-loaded high-resolution images, optimized through Next.js Image component with automatic WebP conversion and responsive sizing. Each vehicle page includes structured data markup (JSON-LD) for rich search results.

5

An admin panel was built for inventory management, allowing the dealer to add, edit, and remove vehicles with photo uploads, pricing updates, and multi-language description management — all without developer assistance.

The Solution

Multi-Language SEO Architecture

Every page on the site exists in eight language versions with clean, locale-prefixed URLs. The next-intl integration handles not just UI translation but also dynamic content like vehicle descriptions, which are stored per-locale in the database. Each page includes proper hreflang link tags pointing to all alternate language versions, a dynamically generated sitemap with all locale variants, and locale-specific Open Graph metadata. This comprehensive approach ensures that Google properly indexes and serves the correct language version to users in each market.

Vehicle Catalog & Search

The catalog interface presents vehicles in a responsive grid with large hero images, key specs, and pricing prominently displayed. A sticky filter sidebar allows users to narrow results by make, model, year, price range, fuel type, and body style with instant client-side filtering. The entire vehicle dataset is pre-rendered server-side on the initial page load, meaning filters feel instantaneous with no loading spinners or API calls. Each filter combination produces a unique URL that can be bookmarked and shared, further enhancing SEO by creating indexable filtered views for long-tail search queries.

Vehicle Detail Pages

Individual vehicle pages showcase the car with a full-width hero gallery, tabbed specification sections, and a prominently placed contact form. The photo gallery supports touch gestures on mobile and keyboard navigation on desktop, with lazy-loaded high-resolution images served in WebP format via Next.js Image optimization. Structured data (JSON-LD Vehicle schema) is embedded in every detail page, enabling rich search results with price, availability, and vehicle specifications directly in Google's search listings.

Performance & Design

The site achieves consistently high Core Web Vitals scores through aggressive optimization: server-side rendering eliminates layout shift, Next.js Image handles responsive image sizing and format conversion, Tailwind CSS produces minimal CSS bundles, and static generation is used for pages that don't change frequently. The visual design uses an elegant dark theme with carefully chosen typography and generous whitespace that communicates the premium positioning of the dealership. Every interaction — from filter animations to gallery transitions — is smooth and polished to match the expectations of premium car buyers.
